Set in a dystopian future, a 20-year drought has led to a ban on private toilets and a public toilet monopoly controlled by the evil Urine Good Company. In this high-octane, fourth-wall-breaking, and straight-up hilarious (yet relevant) show, we see what happens when people have their bodily rights taken away and are given the opportunity to fight back for them.

Audition for the third show in the Theatre Department's season, a musical tale about love directed by Luke Jorgensen and music directed by Elyza Tuan '27.

Synopsis: The Old Man has kept his post as the person refilling the moon to keep it round for as long as he can remember, and this task has become all-encompassing. When his wife is drawn away by a mysterious melody and a desire for excitement he can't understand, the Old Man must decide between duty (and routine) and love (and adventure). This ingenious musical is an imaginative sea-faring epic, encompassing storms, civil wars, sea monsters, and cantankerous ghosts, and the Old Man’s highest hurdle of all: changing his perspective.

Auditions for The Old Man and the Old Moon will be held on Thursday, November 14th from 5-8pm in the Bonn Studio Theatre and on Friday, November 15th from 4-8pm in the Bonn Studio Theatre. Additional audition slots will be made available if the scheduled times fill up.

Callbacks will be held on Sunday, November 17th from 11am-2pm on the Robsham Mainstage. A callback list and materials will be sent out to all auditionees prior to callbacks.
